The bottom line
If your brokerage already pays for BoldTrail, do not rip it out on day one.
It is the current Inside Real Estate product — the kvCORE successor. BoomTown is still sold. There is no public monthly rate card. We will not invent a list price.
The decision guide: BoldTrail.
What they publish (September 2026)
Front Office SKUs: Base, Plus, Pro — demo/quote. BoldTrail’s own pricing blog (June 5, 2026) says they “don’t publish a standard pricing page with fixed monthly tiers.” “Typically $300–$500” on that blog is not a checkout price.
IDX sites, ListingMachine kits, a lead engine, and a marketplace of add-ons (PropertyBoost, Leads360, Concierge Pro) are the published product shape. Vanity domain is a paid add-on. Whose ad account managed ads run on is not stated on the pages we opened.
Bundling (vendor/brokerage claims — confirm on your desk):
- eXp CRM of Choice: BoldTrail, Lofty, or Cloze.
- RE/MAX join-tech: MAXTech powered by BoldTrail.
- Some BHHS offices have historically bundled it.
When BoldTrail is the right call
- The brokerage already funds it and your team uses it every week.
- You want ListingMachine kits and the IRE marketplace in one vendor family.
- You do not need a published price or an owned domain this year.
When Espo is the better fit
Espo is additive. Keep the brokerage login. Put the public site on a domain you own. Listing launches and Meta ads run on your account. A person runs the weekly work. Live in about 21 days. Your data out within 48 hours.
The question is not “is BoldTrail a CRM?” It is. The question is whether the URL in the address bar survives if you leave the brokerage.
The one thing to do
Ask: whose domain is in the address bar, whose Meta account is it, and what percent of BoldTrail do you actually click each week? Then open the decision guide.
