Am I allowed to have my own website as a RE/MAX agent?
Yes. RE/MAX is built on agent independence — “each office independently owned and operated” — and many agents already run their own custom-domain sites while affiliated; RE/MAX even sells a vanity-domain add-on. We keep everything brand-compliant and clear it with your broker/owner.
Will my RE/MAX listings show up?
Your active MLS listings, yes — via a per-MLS IDX feed we set up, the same way BoldTrail does it. Anything held off the MLS (office-exclusive or delayed-marketing) stays off by the MLS’s rules.
Do I have to leave RE/MAX or drop BoldTrail?
No. Your site runs alongside MAX/Tech powered by BoldTrail and the rest of your stack. It’s your public front door, not a replacement for your back office — and BoldTrail adoption was never required network-wide.
BoldTrail is already included in my fees — why pay for this?
Because BoldTrail is a templated site on a brokerage subdomain you don’t own, and it deactivates when you leave. This is your owned domain, built for Google and AI search, and portable for life. It’s an asset, not another desk fee.
What happens to my site if I switch brokerages?
It’s on your own domain — it stays with you, even as RE/MAX accounts are deactivated on departure. We just update your brokerage affiliation.
