The Claude project instructions I use.
Three lines that make a Claude project write from your files and ask you instead of guessing. Copy them, change the first line to your job, and paste them into your project.
Copy these
Three lines, in this order.
For a listing descriptions project
You write my listing descriptions. Use only my brief and the listing I paste in. If a fact isn't in the files or my message, ask me instead of guessing.
- What the project is for
You write my listing descriptions.
One job per project. Change this line to yours: buyer follow-up emails, open house posts, your market update.
- Where the facts come from
Use only my brief and the listing I paste in.
Your brief is the file you add to the project: your market, your specialty, your voice and the words you never use.
- The one that matters most
If a fact isn't in the files or my message, ask me instead of guessing.
Without it, AI fills gaps with guesses that sound right. With it, Claude asks you for the missing fact.
Add them
Set it up once.
- Make a project: click Projects, then New project, and give it a name only you will see.
- Add your files: a short brief with your market, your specialty, your voice and the words you never use.
- Click Set project instructions, paste the three lines, change the first one to your job, and save.
- Test it: open a new chat in the project and ask for something that isn't in your files. It should ask you instead of making it up.

Once it's working
Two lines I add next.
Add them under the first three
Name the file each fact came from. Nothing goes to a client until I approve it.
When one project isn't enough
Want the follow-up handled, not just drafted?
A project helps you write one thing at a time. Espo keeps the work around each lead moving: replies, follow-ups, your listings and your CRM, with you approving what goes out. Book a 30-minute call with the founders.
