Cloze is the sphere CRM. IDX is extra. The site is not the product.
Cloze publishes prices and is one of eXp Realty’s three CRM-of-choice options (with BoldTrail and Lofty). It is a relationship CRM. It is not an owned IDX site or a listing engine.
Credit where it is due
What Cloze does well.
If the job is “never drop a sphere relationship,” Cloze is built for that.
eXp press (2025-07-01): Cloze is one of three CRMs in the standard monthly fee “at no additional cost.” eXp describes it as mobile-first for referral agents.
You own your content. Cancel ≥24 hours before period end and it drops to a free plan after the cycle. Concierge is $20/user with a $500/month minimum.
Keep Cloze when it is already in the eXp fee or when sphere is the whole CRM job.
Capability by capability
The working comparison.
Based on public information. Partial stays partial; a missing row is not turned into a win.
| Capability | Cloze | Espo |
|---|---|---|
| Real-estate-exclusive | Yes | Yes |
| Full CRM — pipelines, sequences, lead routing | Yes | Yes |
| IDX website included | Partial | Yes |
| Public monthly price on the vendor site | Yes | Yes |
| Often bundled in a brokerage fee (eXp) | Yes | — |
| AI-ready site on a domain you own | — | Yes |
| Managed ads with no percentage-of-spend markup | — | Yes |
| A human operator included | Partial | Yes |
| Live in about 21 days | — | Yes |
The boundary
Where Cloze stops.
A great sphere CRM is not a website, and Platinum IDX is not “included.”
IDX is extra
Platinum says MLS/IDX “additional restrictions and charges may apply.” Cloze’s own eXp notes: the program does not include an IDX website.
No ads product
There is no managed Meta desk and no listing-launch SKU. Concierge is training and CSM, not an operator running campaigns.
Annual auto-renew has teeth
TOS: early terminate does not relieve fees through the remainder of the term; no refunds. The cheap annual number is a term, not a casual month.
Cloze can sit beside Espo. It does not replace the owned site or the listing work.
The difference
What Espo adds around it.
Espo sells the operated stack, not a cheaper login:
Keep Cloze for sphere if it is already the habit. Add Espo for the site, listings, and ads.
No automatic answer
Which fits the job now?
Choose Espo if…
- Want ads on your own account with no percentage-of-spend fee, and a person running them.
- Want listing launches — page, video, QR, social — live in about 21 days.
- Want an AI-ready site on a domain you own, not a vendor template you operate.
- Run a team of up to 10 agents and want one decision for the full stack.
Choose Cloze if…
- Sphere and referral follow-up is the whole job.
- You are on eXp and Cloze is already inside the tech fee.
- You already have a site, ads, and listing media elsewhere.
- You want a published CRM price under $50/user and will operate it.
Straight answers
Questions about Cloze.
What does Cloze cost?
As of September 2026: Pro $19.99/month or $17/month annual; Platinum $49.99 or $42 annual per user. Concierge $20/user, $500/month minimum. eXp agents may receive Cloze inside the brokerage tech fee — that fee dollar is not restated here.
Does Cloze include a website?
Not as the product. Platinum mentions MLS/IDX with extra charges. eXp’s Cloze option does not include an IDX website. BoldTrail and Lofty are the eXp options that do.
Can I keep Cloze and add Espo?
Yes. Sphere CRM plus an owned Espo site is a coherent split, especially on eXp. You do not have to rip Cloze out on day one.
