BoomTown is still sold. Ask which login is actually on the desk.
BoomTown helped define real-estate lead-gen CRMs. It is still a live SKU on boomtownroi.com. The parent, Inside Real Estate, also sells BoldTrail and has said BoomTown is folding in. Espo is additive: owned domain, listing launches, ads on your account.
Same family as BoldTrail / kvCORE. Confirm what is installed this week before you rip anything out.
Credit where it is due
What BoomTown does well.
If the team already lives in BoomTown, it is a real all-in-one. Do not rip it out on a rumor.
Success Assurance is sold as US-based human lead concierges — they say “no bots” — plus a lead-gen team they describe as 20+ certified experts.
IDX site, predictive CRM, and smart-drip are the product. That is a working category, not a dead brand.
Keep BoomTown when the login is already paid for and the team actually uses it every week.
Capability by capability
The working comparison.
Based on public information. Partial stays partial; a missing row is not turned into a win.
| Capability | BoomTown | Espo |
|---|---|---|
| Real-estate-exclusive | Yes | Yes |
| Full CRM — pipelines, sequences, lead routing | Yes | Yes |
| IDX website included | Yes | Yes |
| Public monthly price on the vendor site | — | Yes |
| Human lead concierges (Success Assurance) | Yes | Partial |
| AI-ready site on a domain you own | — | Yes |
| Managed ads with no percentage-of-spend markup | Partial | Yes |
| Ads run on your own ad account | Partial | Yes |
| A named operator included with the growth engine | Partial | Yes |
| Live in about 21 days | — | Yes |
The boundary
Where BoomTown stops.
A live SKU is not a published price, and it is not a domain you own.
There is no sticker
Official pages are quote / demo. We will not invent a monthly dollar. Ask for the order form.
The parent is consolidating
Inside Real Estate’s BoldTrail blog (April 2026) says the standalone BoomTown product is being phased out and the path forward is migration to BoldTrail. Timeline is “contact IRE.”
Export is not a selling point
BoomTown Terms restrict extracting data for storage on a separate server. Whose ad account runs the lead-gen campaigns is not stated on the marketing pages.
If you are already on BoomTown, the honest next question is whose domain and whose ads — not whether the CRM exists.
The difference
What Espo adds around it.
Espo sells the operated stack, not a cheaper login:
Keep BoomTown if the team lives in it. Add Espo for the owned front door and the listing work.
No automatic answer
Which fits the job now?
Choose Espo if…
- Want ads on your own account with no percentage-of-spend fee, and a person running them.
- Want listing launches — page, video, QR, social — live in about 21 days.
- Want an AI-ready site on a domain you own, not a vendor template you operate.
- Run a team of up to 10 agents and want one decision for the full stack.
Choose BoomTown if…
- The brokerage or team already pays for BoomTown and people actually open it.
- You want their human concierges more than an owned site and listing launches.
- You are fine with quote-only pricing and a parent-stated migration to BoldTrail.
- You do not need a person running ads on your own Meta account.
Straight answers
Questions about BoomTown.
Is BoomTown the same as BoldTrail?
Same parent (Inside Real Estate), different public SKU as of September 2026. boomtownroi.com is still live. BoldTrail has said BoomTown is folding into BoldTrail. Ask which product is on the desktop this week. The BoldTrail guide is /compare/boldtrail.
Does BoomTown publish prices?
No. The product-comparison page lists packages and seat counts, not dollars. Do not use a roundup as their rate card.
Can I keep BoomTown and add Espo?
Yes. Espo is often additive: owned domain, listing launches, ads on your account. Most teams retire the extra CRM login during the build (about 21 days) if they do not actually need two. Your data out within 48 hours if you ever leave.
