Better Brokers Realty Group: what changed in search after the AI-ready rebuild

Granite Bay, CA. Measured October 2025 to October 2026.

In the 90 days before the rebuild, Google showed BBRG's site 3,730 times and sent 123 clicks. In the most recent 90 days, Google showed it 11,400 times and sent 256 clicks.

We report four things separately, because they measure different things: whether AI tools can read the site, whether AI answers name BBRG, whether people arrive from AI tools, and how the site performs in Google Search.

On January 28, 2026, the rebuilt BBRG site gained explicit permission for AI crawlers, an llms.txt file that describes the business in plain language, and structured data on its pages. The new site was serving visitors by February 1, 2026.

Can AI tools read the site? Yes. As of October 23, 2026, the site's robots file names and allows seven AI crawlers, publishes a 66-page sitemap, and serves its llms.txt file. Requests using six AI crawler identities all load the home page. Before January 28, the site allowed all crawlers by default but named none and had no llms.txt. This shows the door is open. It does not show how often AI crawlers walk through it.

Do AI answers name BBRG? We have not measured this with a repeatable test yet, so we make no claim here. Separately, BBRG agents have reported callers who said an AI assistant recommended them; those are the team's reports, not our measurements.

Do people arrive from AI tools? Yes, in small numbers. Google Analytics recorded 11 visits from AI assistants: 9 from ChatGPT and 2 from Perplexity, between mid-August and October 22, 2026, out of 1,761 recorded visits. Analytics began on July 25, 2026, so there is no earlier number to compare.

Google Search, Oct 29, 2025 to Jan 26, 2026 vs Jul 23 to Oct 20, 2026: shown 3,730 vs 11,400 times; 123 vs 256 clicks; click-through rate 3.3% vs 2.2%; average position 27.2 vs 32.8. The site now appears in about three times as many searches, including broader ones where it ranks lower. Since Google began reporting it on May 18, 2026, BBRG pages have appeared 392 times inside Google's AI features, across 71 pages.

These are measurements of one brokerage's site, not a forecast. The numbers rose while BBRG launched a new site, added listing and new-build pages, and ran ad campaigns, so we don't credit any single piece of work. No ranking, AI mention or lead volume is guaranteed.
