Give the smallest useful access
A connection should expose only the data and actions required for the job, with a person retaining control over consequential changes.
Prefer delegated access
Use supported connections, scoped tokens, and role-based access when they exist. A password gives away identity; delegated access grants a defined capability that can be reviewed and revoked.
Separate reading from changing
A system that can inspect information does not automatically need authority to edit, send, publish, buy, delete, or invite. Each write deserves its own reason and confirmation boundary.
